Heidelberger Kunstverein announces the solo exhibition “Softener” by artist Bradley Davies (*1990, London).

Davies has been awarded the WERK.STOFF Prize for Painting by the Andreas Felger Kulturstiftung.
The prize includes this year’s exhibition at the Kunstverein.

Opening: December 1, 2023, 6 pm.

Bradley Davies explores social structures and systems through painting. He lives in Berlin.

His work was selected by the following experts: Jana Baumann (curator, Haus der Kunst, Munich), Julia Grosse & Yvette Mutumba (curators, editors Contemporary And, Berlin), Sergej Jensen (artist, Berlin), Chus Martinez (curator, director Institut Kunst, HGK FHNW Basel) and Mathilde ter Heijne (artist, Universität der Künste Berlin).

The award is intended to support the recipient focussing on her or his artistic development.
