LaToya Ruby Frazier
Frazier (1982 in Braddock, US) is an American artist and associate professor of photography at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. In 2015 she was awarded a MacArthur Fellowship. Informed by documentary practices from the turn of the 20th century, Frazier works in photography, video and performance to build visual archives that addresses industrialism, health-care inequality, environmental justice and communal history (source text).
